There are more and more Tor users in China via the meme spreading of blogopshere. Comparing to other proxy tools, Tor is more stable in connection based on it’s distributed architecture. Also it’s ralatedly secure because of anonymous tunnel design.
When some of my friends travel to China, I always suggest them to install Tor to access oversea’s web sites. Unlike some politics-oriented proxy tools, Tor is more content-neutral, thus can be used by diversified users. Also from my friends in Vietnam, Tor also works to break the censorship by gov there. They are happy to share the tool in their circle after my introduction.
I hope this tool can be widely accepted as soon as possible before GFW system aware of it’s importance freeing the Internet access in China.
重新开始,venture blog 随着整个isaacmao.com 站点都搬迁到了国外服务器,希望不再受到连带影响。
Eventually, I have to move isaacmao.com, a web site belongs to a common Chinese, to oversea’s hosting. It’s been 10 months from the last post when my web site was unplugged and then rejected of registraiton by authority for times. Not so long? It’s really so looooooong to a minute-counting blogger.
Seems no other choices, I have to move this site and blogs to oversea’s hosting at last. It’s not my personal intention that I want to keep the site in China. “Bad thing will be good thing” in Chinese Proverb. Now I have collected many new ideas on the recovering new site, including blogs/wikis/web 2.0 integration and more lifelog features. I will work step by step from restarting english and venture blog first.
Anyway the demonstration is near over. Free Thinking, Free Speech and Free Access are still dreams in China. Thanks for the caring from many friends in this period. I will resailing soon by becoming a real global citizen!
