Skype new version drives me crazy
After installing Skype new version(v3.1) two days ago, I met a series of deadlock of the program. Anytime(not all the time, of course) when a new chatting messge comes in, the skype program will halt and can’t be interacted any more. I found the process of “Skype.exe” in “Windows Tasks Manager” eats over 90% of CPU and 90M memory. So I have to kill the process and restart it, but it will repeat no more than 1 hour. Really mad with the problem, I wish I can roll back to previous versions. (I will copy screenshots the next time I met same deadlock…)
I should send my sympathy to Fons, he got mad with Skype-based RSS alert service, Anothr.com. Sorry, Fons.
update: Foxmachia suggested me to install the most recent build of Skype. It did work after the upgrading.
